Russell Library is Reopening
Limited services will be available beginning July 13, 2020
Grab & Go Services
Public Service hours will be 10am-4pm.
The Library will be open for browsing and “grab and go” service only. You may browse our shelves for materials that you may check out for use at home.
A self-service copier and self-service fax machine will be available. (Debit/credit cards only.)
A book drop will be available inside the library for your convenience.
Masks are Required
A face covering is required per government order. All Library users over the age of 2 must wear a face covering.
If you do not have a face covering, you may take advantage of our Curbside Pickup service by calling 860-347-2528.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, do not enter the Library.
Proper social distancing and observance of directional signage must be observed in the Library at all times.
No seating will be available. We are opening for material selection only.
No toys will be available.
If safe capacity is reached in any area, staff may limit the number of users.
We will not be accepting cash and will not be able to make change.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Plexiglass safety barriers will be in use at all public service stations.
We are not accepting book donations at this time.
The Library reserves the right to limit, change or reduce services and hours without notice if public health or other conditions change.
Computers are available by appointment beginning Monday, July 27th.
There are five stand-up stations and one wheelchair-accessible station on the 2nd floor. Sessions are 45 minutes long, and patrons are allowed one session per day. We cannot renew or extend sessions.
Curbside Service is Still Available
You may still request materials for pickup at curbside.
It’s easy and safe!
Curbside Pickup is available Monday – Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
