For all City buildings, except schools, fully vaccinated individuals from the public will not have to wear masks effective May 19, 2021.
The public must comply with the state’s guidance on mask wearing. In other words, unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks while indoors and fully vaccinated individuals will be able to go into City buildings, except schools, without wearing a mask.
Vaccination status will not be verified; members of the public entering City buildings will be expected to comply with the state guidance on the honor system.
You may also take advantage of our Curbside Pickup service by calling 860-347-2528. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, do not enter the Library.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Plexiglass safety barriers are in use at all public service stations.
We are not accepting book donations at this time.
The Library reserves the right to limit, change or reduce services and hours without notice if public health or other conditions change.

There are 5 stand-up stations and 4 sit-down stations on the 2nd floor. 5 computers are available in the Children’s Department. Sessions are 60 minutes long, and patrons are allowed one session per day.
