The Friends of Russell Library’s in-library book sale is back and better than ever! The Book Nook can be found on the second floor of the library, just off the elevator.

You don’t need to come inside to pick up your materials! Try Curbside Pickup. Quick, easy, convenient!

Digital Conversion Station

Digitize home videos, from VHS, 8mm, Super 8 and VHS-C, photographs, and documents by using our various converting devices. By appointment only.

HelpNow

Communicate with live tutors using an interactive whiteboard to chat, write, draw, copy/paste text or images and graph homework problems. (Russell Library card required.)

HotSpots

Checkout a mobile hotspot! A mobile hotspot is an electronic device that makes it possible to use the internet in areas with no service. Once it has picked up a cellular data connection, it can share that connection with other devices.

Middletown Room

The mission of the Middletown Room is to identify, collect, organize, preserve, and provide public access to the materials that document the economic, natural, political, and social history of Middletown.

By appointment only. Once you submit your request, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. There is no charge for this service.

Phone Chargers

We have four of these charging stations in the library: Teen Dept., Children’s Dept. the Lobby and on the second floor near the computers.

The Pod

NEW! Located in the Teen Room.
It’s great for making a recording, watching a webinar, conducting a two-person meeting, tutoring, or studying.

Self-Checkouts

You can now check out your own materials! Self-checkouts can be found in the lobby and in the children’s department. You can also check out items using your phone. Click here for details.

Telling Time, Fractions, Multiplication, Mindfulness, Kindness & more! These conveniently packaged kits are available for checkout.

Study Area

We have a new study area! Located on the second floor, this area is set up for people with laptops looking for a quiet desk and a place to plug-in.

These chairs have electric outlets for plugging in a laptop or tablet and a place to charge your phone. Look for them on our second floor near the book sale and in the quiet study area.
